OK, finally! The new version is in beta live now. So what's new? Ratings! I waited a few days for responses from the (un)lucky who were trying out the beta and now everyone will get to delight in upgrading and getting their settings back in order... So here's the deal so far:

• REQUIREMENT: This version requires Yahoo! Music Engine 1.1
• FEATURE: Added support for rating the current song, album and track from the Now Playing window.
• CHANGE: This version stores preferences under a new key. This means you will need to set your options again.
• CHANGE: Seek has visual cue when it is disabled.
• CHANGE: The remote now defaults to being visible even if YME is open.
• CHANGE: YME 1.1 no longer saves playlists on your local hard drive. This means the Playlists entry in the menu will be empty/hidden unless you save them to disk.
• FIX: Album art (visualization) window should not hang around if the remote has been set hide.
• FIX: Weirdness with getting album art URL over network fixed.
• FIX: Checking if the remote computer is alive when using IP address is now a lot faster.
