We had a conference call the other day and once again I was struck by the design of our Avaya IP conference phone. Does red mean muted or does it mean "hot" and active? What about green? You can talk to others on the line or you're safe from your boss on the other end? I'm not even going to go into the whole deal about red/green color blindness... This especially when there is a nice little screen that you could put some text or even an image (for more confusion).
