Microsoft issued a refresh of the hotfix 911565 today that should fix the seek problem introduced originally by the patch with the same number. I installed it today and everything seems to be working this time. I installed the patch from the bulletin mentioned below, not from Windows Update. Have you tried it? Does seek still/now for you?
